November 02, 2009 - Cover panel warranty part for Panasonic Card Reader
Some customers have experienced problems with water leaking onto the Panasonic card reader through the coin acceptor seal on the WashSelect II. Water can drip onto the connector for the card reader causing corrosion of the contacts. A card reader cover (part SA2249) has been added to protect the card reader electronics from any water that may enter the unit. The cover is secured by four nuts that already hold the card reader in place.
These parts are available at no charge for updating previously installed units under the Unitec Electronics equipment warranty. Warranty orders require the Sales Order number or Invoice number from the original WashSelect II or Panasonic retrofit kit sale.
